So what’s the Difference?

The Muslim celebration of Ramadan just ended. This brought to my mind that most people think that we all worship the same God just by different names. One simple and quick way to determine if this is true is by the way Christians, Jews and Muslims celebrate their holy days.

There is a theme and attitude for each that expresses the ideology of the faith and the God the people worship. So what is the focus of the holy days for Christians, Jews and Muslims? Consider the following and you decide. Please share if this makes sense to you.

Christians and Christmas – peace, love and joy

Jews – Yom Kippur – confession, repentance and forgiveness

Muslims – anger, hate and murder
