HOW TO PRAY FOR ISRAEL
“First the Saturday People then the Sunday People”

Join us on October 6 for our 81st Erev Shabbat teaching and joyous celebration of God. Our theme is How to Pray for Israel. I hope we all understand that the war between Israel and Hezbollah was a tragic defeat for Israel. It was not only a defeat for Israel; it was a defeat for the world. It was a defeat for freedom loving people and the West.
ISRAEL’S LOSS IS OUR LOSS As Americans who love freedom and our Judeo-Christian values,we must awaken to the ramification of Israel’s tragic loss, as we also lost.You see, those young Israeli soldiers were fighting for our freedom,our culture, our values, our way of life. I’m sure the local Hezbollahand Hamas terrorist organizations (right here in Houston) are ecstatic.
Let me be clear, our beloved IDF did not lose this war. The government’s lack of will to fight lost this war. With all due respect to Prime Minister Olmert, he is a politician, not a warrior. He is a talker, not a fighter. We certainly need talkers, but in a war, we need fighters. The same is true of the Defense Minister Amir Peretz. God bless them for their extremely difficult roles but they are not military minded leaders.
